Both teams ICC
one-day ranking remained same even after end of the series. England remained on
fifth position even after winning four matches in one-day series. Pakistan is
still at ninth position however Pakistan team’s ICC ranking has dropped one
point.

Pakistan ODI cricket had 87 points and now after series it ranking is 86 points.
Since 2001 when ICC ranking system started Pakistan points had never been at
this low level. England points has increased with one point after this series,
before that series its point was 106 and now it is 107. Pakistan to qualify
World Cup has become more difficult after losing the ODI series against England.
Pakistan
must demonstrate excellent performance in the series against the West Indies
and Australia, Pakistan team won the fifth and final one-day match against
England but defeated series with 4-1.
